The Washington, DC Chapter of North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association is the largest chapter in the association.  The chapter is one of two chapters who owns an alumni house.  

Located in the historical district, two blocks south of U Street and around the corner from the famous Ben's Chili Bowl, the Washington, DC Chapter is very instrumental in grooming young people to become future leaders.   Many of the chapter members have served on local, regional and national levels within the association. Several past National Alumni presidents are members of the chapter. A proud to note, several members of the chapter are National Alumni Award recipients.

The chapter's main focus is to provide financial opportunities to students matriculating at the university. Each year, the chapter continues to make significant contributions back to the university in both chapter and individual chapter member donations.  The amounts given back to the university exceed chapter Annual Fund goals by 40 percent. With that greatness of giving, the chapter is able to leave indelible impressions on young people who aspire to attain their goals at A&T. 

Membership is a necessity because without it, the chapter cannot be a vital resource in the community and to the young people in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area community.  The chapter is always recruiting, reclaiming and retaining alumni in the area to be a part of history.  The chapter hopes you will elect to join us in making history.
