The Chapter leadership is elected by the membership of the Washington, DC Chapter of North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association, Incorporated.  The officers serve two year terms and the current term is 2007-2009. The officers along with the Board of Directors make up the Executive Board. Below are the 2007-2009 officers for the Washington, DC Chapter.

The Board of Directors was established in 1969 under the auspices of the Washington, DC Chapter to oversee and direct the operation of all real property of the Washington, DC Chapter.  Nine out of the 11 Board of Director members are elected officers who serve three year terms and they are also members of the Executive Board.  Two of the 11 Board of Director members are appointed by the president of the chapter.
