Welcome Aggie Alumni and Friends,

I am honored to serve as the President of what I consider to be the best alumni chapter, the Washington, DC Chapter of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Alumni Association, Inc.'s. It is a chapter that is dedicated to providing world class Aggie

Pride service to the alumni, friends, residents of Washington, DC and the metropolitan community.

I will build on the outstanding legacies of the previous administrations that exhibited exemplary leadership which encouraged us to move forward and soar like never before. As we continue with the transition, I will be working with the Chapter's Executive Council to access the needs of the chapter,alumni, students, future students and residents of Washington, DC. Our focus will also be on providing continued support to the new administration of North Carolina A&T State University and the North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association.

The goals and objectives involve initiatives that will result in the chapter becoming more active within the Washington, DC metropolitan community which includes, but are not limited to:
  • Promoting goodwill and activities that will benefit local residents, provide financial support and adhere to the mission and objectives of the North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association;
  • Encouraging graduates, former students, former faculty and high school students to enhance their academic status;
  • Hosting and participating in activities that introduce parents, counselors, mentors and local students to the University's academic, athletic and scholarship programs;
  • Collaborating and sponsoring activities with local schools, college fairs, organizations and city officials;
  • To fellowshipping and promoting social, economic and community service projects that enhance the lives of the membership, students;
  • Promoting guidance and placement for the membership, new graduates and high school students regarding employment (internships, co-op and permanent positions), occupational advancement, transfers and career opportunities.
In an effort to provide current, relevant and useful information regarding activities of the chapter, I encourage each of you to frequently visit our web site. If you are not a member of the chapter, I invite you to join and become active. If you are a member of the chapter, I look forward to your continued involvement because your support plays an important role in our continued success and that of the University.
